Brief Bio:

Mostak Ahamed Imran is a BAPT-approved International Professional Play Therapist at BRAC Institute of Educational and Development (BRAC IED). He has a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Educational Psychology from the University of Dhaka and an MA in Play Therapy from the University of Roehampton, London. He has completed an online diploma course on Community-Based Rehabilitation from Queen’s University of Kingston, Canada. He has also completed a MPhil degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Dhaka. Mostak is the first and only BAPT registered (British Association of Play Therapists) Play Therapist (Reg No. 1386) in Bangladesh. He has keen interest in research. He has also expertise in module development, conducting workshops, training in organizations, and providing counselling sessions (individual and group) with adults and children. He has done several training sessions on Psycho-social support for different groups of participants. He also appears frequently in Radio and TV Programs to promote and advocate mental health services. In the future, he hopes to work for the betterment of mental health services for the people of Bangladesh.
