Brief Bio:

Rahnuma Binte Hasan has strong academic foundation in Education and two post-graduate focusing on Science, Math & Technology Education and Early Childhood Development. She started her career as teaching science and mathematics to grade III and grade IV students in a reputed school. She is currently working as Senior Curriculum Developer specializing in humanitarian settings as well as facilitating the classes of M.Ed in Educational Leadership and School Improvement at BRAC IED, BRAC University. Her work includes developing educational resources focusing on ECD (Early Childhood Education), play-based pedagogy and training. She has played crucial role in providing training to government officials on child development and play-based learning. Her commitment to furthering early childhood education is demonstrated by her participation in one of the key initiative projects of BRAC IED named Play to Learn. She also continuing her contribution on promoting positive parenting in humanitarian contexts, and creating short courses focused on co-creation with young children, families, and communities. She is committed to fostering learning, resilience, and positive developmental outcomes in vulnerable populations. Rahnuma intends to promote and implement play-based learning, constructivist learning environment and inclusive strategies for the underprivileged and privileged population to address the various issues of educational contexts.
