Brief Bio:

Sakila Yesmin has been working as a full-time faculty member and a researcher lead at BRAC IED, BRAC University since January 2009. She has a B.Sc., M.Sc. in Psychology and an M.Phil. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Dhaka. She completed her second master's in International Health from Humboldt University, Germany, UCL, UK, and Karolinska Institute, Sweden under the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship program, and Post Graduate Diploma in Health Economics and Public Health. She is trained in different Psychotherapies and Psychological Assessment tools. Ms Sakila works on and supervises the designing of ECD interventions and frontline counselling courses, training, and program activities. With a robust multitude of expertise and experience under her belt, she is involved in leading research projects in the areas of Early Childhood Development (ECD), adolescent development, community mental health, and child care. Since 2017, she has been actively involved in Rohingya setting.
