Brief Bio:

Ms. Riffat Jahan Nahreen has cultivated a diverse professional career spanning 17 years, encompassing roles as an academician, a humanitarian worker and a development practitioner. Being graduated as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar from Education discipline, she has been teaching at the Master's level for 14 years, specializing in Educational Leadership and Early Childhood Development (ECD). She also possesses extensive experience in managing a variety of projects, with a primary focus on Early Childhood Development (ECD) and education more broadly. She spent a significant three and half year’s span of her career to work dedicatedly as a humanitarian actor where she led the Child Protection sector of BRAC in Cox’s Bazar of Bangladesh to contribute ensuring better life for the Rohingya children.

Areas of Specialization

Play and Early Childhood Development, Child Protection in the humanitarian sector, promoting socio-emotional well-being through the resilience-building of children and adolescents, capacity development for education professionals, adult education, and research.
