Brief Bio:

Md. Mokarram Hossain is a Lecturer and Faculty member at BRAC IED, specializing in assessment, research methodology, and curriculum. His Master's degree in Educational Evaluation and Research has equipped him with expertise in formative assessment, teacher education, curriculum and assessment literacy. His research interests encompass a diverse range of critical educational topics, including assessment, teacher education, curriculum development, play-based pedagogy, and issues of social justice and equity. Notably, Hossain has designed and instructed various short courses in BRAC IED, demonstrating his commitment to teaching and learning. He also serves as the thesis coordinator in the MEd program, supporting students' academic development. His current humanitarian project, the Mentorship Program, focuses on improving the teaching and learning practices of Rohingya teachers and NGO education staffs in Cox's Bazar. Additionally, he contributed to a government initiative as a trainer, assisting in the implementation of play-based curriculum at the pre-primary level. With a remarkable portfolio and a genuine passion for education, he continues to make meaningful strides in the field.
